Handler Olympics

Join us on Tuesday evening on the hotel patio for a fun filled time seeing old friends and making new

ones! Aside from the patio being a great place to relax, grab some food (see Shopify) and a beverage

(there will be a bar), we are planning the Handler Olympics. What is that you ask? Do I have to be

athletic?

The Handler Olympics is designed to enhance the Ice Breaker and get people talking, laughing and

having a great time. No athleticism required – all can participate! The event will be a team event with 3

people per team. Teams will be drawn right before the event starts to keep with the ice breaker theme

of meeting people. If interested in being part of a team, please send your name to Dawn Gibas at

So, what will these teams do? A series of contests with ribbons for placements for each individual

contest and a grand prize for the overall winning team (each team member gets a ribbon and grand

prize). Each team will choose a name and if there needs to be a tiebreaker the audience will vote on

the best name to break the tie.

Contests will include a bucket bitch competition, a small agility course relay (think weave poles), a

short rally course, and a scavenger hunt!
